Meet OT Kim B.
HI! I’m Kim and I have a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with over a decade worth of experience. My passion to start a clinic grew from my own need to access OT services for my family and I was frustrated with the waitlist. I’m here to listen and support your goals. For additional credentialing I also have:
Level 1 certification in teaching Handwriting Without Tears curriculum,
specialized training in sensory integration,
specialized training in visual/perceptual integration,
DIR FloorTime training,
Interoception curriculum training, and
firsthand knowledge with navigating 504s and IEPs.
For fun, I enjoy traveling with my family to the wild places near Spokane!
“Candy” Quane
A member of the Q litter from Bergin College in Oregon, the newest Hilltop OT employee is Quane aka “Candy” Quane or just “Candy”. She is a Golden/Lab mix with years of training at Bergin to perform tasks consistently and attentively as a facility therapy dog. She also loves to brighten everyone’s day with a tail wag and a calming presence. In addition to being clients’ favorite ball fetcher and motivator, she participates in therapy sessions to help clients more quickly achieve their goals in postural control, quadruped, visual/vestibular training, sensory, and self-care activities.
