
Research shows that since 2005, students have steadily lost skills required to maintain sustained attention and focus. Pre-Teens and Teens may consistently feel anxious and poorly organized. Hilltop OT enjoys working with older students to develop the skills needed to be successful in middle school and high school. The program includes completing a sensory profile, a novel problem solving activity, and questionnaires to determine functional interventions for biggest impact. As a capstone to completing the six-week session, students select to complete a craft activity or a 3-D printing activity to practice their organization and time management.
